Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte... because it's usually too hot in Texas come October to drink a hot latte.
Why pay for an overpriced latte, when you could so easily make one at home? This recipe is quick to pull together. And if you're anything like me come Fall, you'll have all these ingredients already on hand in your pantry! And if you don't have pumpkin puree and pumpkin spice in your pantry... well shame on you, and get yourself over to the grocery store!
Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte
Ingredients
· 2 shots brewed espresso
· 1/3 cup whole milk
· 1 tbsp pumpkin puree
· 2 tsp brown sugar
· ¼ tsp pumpkin spice
Pour the espresso into the bottom of a drinking glass. Add about 1 cup of ice.
In a mason jar or cocktail shaker, add the milk, pumpkin, sugar and pumpkin spice. Shake vigorously for 1-2 minutes until the milk is thick and frothy.
Pour the pumpkin cream over the iced espresso.
